Srinagar, March 30 (KNS): Taking strong exception over the duping of overseas job aspirants by various consultancies Youth General Secretary Organization JKPC Mudasir Karim has appealed to the LG administration to intervene and take appropriate action against such consultancies which are hell-bent to ruin the future of our young generations.
Mudasir said that it has become a routine that some consultancies in J&K are looting young aspirants with hefty amounts and sending them to various countries, particularly to UAE and other Arab Countries without any secured jobs where these youngsters are left on God’s mercy after their consumption of visa validity due to which they are forced to work on menial labour. Most of these youngsters suffer from financial crises and are not even provided basic facilities at these places.
Quoting a recent incident in which one of the Kashmiri labourer hailing from the Ramban area who is presently struggling for life and is on life support in Al Qasima Hospital Sharjah UAE had fallen from the working site and was left on Allah’s mercy with no medical facility provided from the company to him. While as some Kashmiri people living in UAE after learning about his condition have voluntarily provided some help to this young person.
Urging the LG administration to come tough against those consultancies which are looting young people of our union territory and making their future bleak by leaving them at the mercy of God in foreign countries. He also appealed people of J&K to be aware of these fraudulent consultancies and check properly before choosing to seek overseas jobs. (KNS)
