Srinagar April 01 (KNS): Senior National Conference leader and former Speaker J&K Legislative Assembly Mubarak Gul today visited Sheikh Colony, Noorbagh to meet the fire affected families whose houses were gutted in the wee hours of Thursday. 

Expressing sympathies with the fire victims, Gul assured them of every possible help. He urged the district administration to provide all facilities of shelter and relief assistance to the families affected by the blaze on a war footing basis. Gul also urged authorities to take into account the massive damage incurred by these economically downtrodden families so that a comprehensive economic package is given to them that could help the victims to rebuild their lives afresh. 

Gul was accompanied by Block Secretary NC Eidgah Yunis Mubarak Gul, NC Halqa President Noorbagh Ghulam Qadir Ilahi and other local party unit functionaries during the visit.(KNS)
