Srinagar, August 22 (KNS): President All J&K Shia Association & Former Minister Molvi Imran Reza Ansari today visited Baba Nagri Kangan to offer condolences on the demise of noted religious and political figure Mian Bashir Ahmad Larvi famously known as Baba Saheb. 

After paying obeisance at the Ziyarat Babanagri to offer Fatiha (congregational prayer), Molvi Imran Reza later met with the family including his son Mian Altaf Ahmad to offer his condolences and sympathies with the bereaved family. 

Recalling Baba saheb’s long association with his late father Molvi Iftikhar Hussain Ansari said that Baba sahib was like his uncle and he always treated us as his own children and even have shared their blessings with us. Molvi Imran added that Baba Sahib, as he was popularly known, till his very end, continued to inspire all without caste, creed and religion and has remained even in the political arena with his rare qualities in politics without losing his respect of being a religious and spiritual leader and even never lost sight of political developments in the country and abroad. 

Molvi Imran said that the demise of Baba sahib has created an unfulfilled void and his contributions in religious, political and as a scholar can be remembered forever. 

Meanwhile, General Secretary Abid Hussain Ansari who also visited Baba Nagri also paid rich tributes to the late Baba sahib and recalled his contributions to the welfare of humanity and offered his condolences and sympathies to the family of Mian Bashir Saheb.(KNS)
