Srinagar, Nov 09 (KNS) : Apni Party Youth General Secretary, In-charge Eidgah Constituency and Corporator SMC Mohammad Ashraf Palpori on Tuesday visited Power Development Department AEE's office at Danamazar in Safa Kadal, Eidgah.
He was accompanied by Zonal Coordinator Eidgah, Ghulam Mohammad Bhat, Working Committee Chairman Eidgah Ghulam Mohammad Wani and Halqa President Youth Mohammad Younis Dar.
In a statement issued here, Palpori said that he raised various issues regarding to replacement & repairing of electric poles, wires with the concerned officials.
"The irregular power cuts cause huge problems to the local populace especially during winter season. All matter pertaining to relieving the public woes were discussed in detail alongwith replacement of faulty transformer at the earliest," he said.
Palpori said that officials assured that all necessary measures will be taken to provide convenience to the people of Eidgah with regards to ample electricity supplies to all the affected areas," he said.
The locals afterwards thanked Mohammad Ashraf Palpori for his prompt efforts to raise the public concerns with the competent authorities and pledged unwavering support to him.(KNS)
