Srinagar, Sep 26 (KNS): Apni Party Youth General Secretary, In-charge Eidgah Constituency and Corporator SMC Mohammad Ashraf Palpori on Monday inaugurated lane & drain at New Colony, Rathpora-Eidgah that remained a long pending demand of the local inhabitants.

 

In a statement issued here, Palpori said the people of Eidgah have been outrightly neglected so far but his public centric endeavours are directed to end the persisting sufferings.

 

"The construction of lane and drain at New Colony, Rathpora-Eidgah had been pending for a long time now but with rigourous efforts I have been able to get it done with a total cost of 4.14 lakhs. I am hopeful that people will have a sigh of relief as their woes have been addressed," he said.

 

Palpori assured that he will remain always at the beck and call of people whose grievances need to be redressed that remains vital and important task of a public representative.

 

"I have seen people relentlessly being pushed to the wall by erstwhile successive governments who just have cared for the welfare of their own families and relatives while letting people suffer deplorably. But I will see to it that people get relief and their aspirations get fulfilled," he said.

 

The locals of the area appreciated his unswerving efforts and vowed to support him in the upcoming Assembly Elections.(KNS)
