Mirwaiz family bereaved as daughter-in-law of Moulvi Muhammad Shah passes away

Srinagar, Oct 03 (KNS): The daughter-in-law of Moulvi Muhammad Shah, the former general secretary of Anjuman Nusrat-ul-Islam and the younger brother of Muhajir-e-Millat Moulvi Muhammad Yousuf Shah (RA) passed away after a brief illness at her home at Moulvi Stop, Lal Bazar, Srinagar. The deceased was the wife of the late Moulvi Ghulam Mustafa.

Expressing deep grief and sorrow over the demise, the Anjuman Nusrat-ul-Islam, in a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS) extended heartfelt condolence with the members of the Mirwaiz Family especially the deceased's son Moulvi Iftikhar Ahmad, Anjuman head Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, late Moulvi Ghulam Mustafa's brothers - Er Nisar Ahmad, Moulvi Muzaffar Ahmad and Moulvi Basharat Ahmad.

Anjuman Nusrat-ul-Islam prayed for Jannat-ul-Firdous to the departed soul and forbearance to all the bereaved family members.

As per the statement, funeral prayers of the deceased were offered today morning, while Mirwaiz Umar Farooq could not attend the Namaaz-e-Janazah owing to his continuous arbitrary house arrest since August 5, 2019.

The statement reads that no gathering for Fateha would be held in view of the COVID-19 pandemic. "People are requested to pray for the departed soul and her ascension to Jannat-ul-Firdous." (KNS)
