Srinagar, Feb 12 (KNS): Wife of Moulvi Muhammad Ashraf, son of late Moulvi Habibullah Shah and grandson of Mirwaiz Moulana Ahmadullah Shah Sahib passed away on Saturday at her residence in Peer Bagh Srinagar.
She was aunt of Mirwaiz Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq. Moulvi Muhammad Ashraf is former deputy registrar of Cooperative Societies and former general secretary of Anjuman Nusrat-ul-Islam.
According to a statement, due continued house arrest of Mirwaiz, he could neither participate in funeral prayers nor visit the residence for condolences.
It reads the condolence of the deceased will be observed till tomorrow at her residence and as per family tradition there will be no congregational prayers (KNS)
