Srinagar, Oct 16 (KNS): Mir Junaid the president of Jammu Kashmir Workers Party called upon the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir today at Raj Bhawan in Srinagar. 

In an hour long meeting, Mir took up various issues with the Lieutenant Governor.

Mir took up the issue of target killings of the minorities to which the Lieutenant Governor said that the forces are in control of the overall situation and the terrorists will be hunted and the blood of the innocents will be avenged.

Mir also spoke about the recent figures of unemployment in the UT and the LG said that the Government is coming up with thousands of public sector posts and the efforts to bring in privateinvestment areon.

Mir also took up the issues of various constituencies which included Langate, Kokernag, Dooru Shahabad, etc. The LG told Mir that he has noted all these issues and will pass directions for their immediate resolution.

Mir thanked the LG for his time and told the LG that the people of Kashmir have got to understand the value of good governance due to his excellency’s governmental efforts. (KNS)
