Srinagar, Dec 8 (KNS): A group of minorities from Kashmir Valley, including Hindus, Sikhs, and Christians, gathered in Srinagar to protest the ongoing attacks on minorities in Bangladesh on Sunday.
The protest, held outside Raj Bhawan, saw participants raising slogans such as “Save Bangladesh Minorities” and “Stop the Killings of Hindus in Bangladesh.”
One of the protesters, expressed concern over the lack of international response to the violence. “The UN speaks up whenever there is violence around the world, but it has remained silent on the attacks against minorities in Bangladesh,” she said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelThe protesters also criticized global leaders for ignoring the severity of the situation.
The group has launched a campaign to bring attention to these attacks and submitted a memorandum to the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir. They urged the government to take the issue to the United Nations, calling for action to protect minorities in Bangladesh. (KNS)
