Says militants targetting unarmed jawans on leave; will soon identify, neutralize the militants involved

Srinagar, May 24 (KNS) : Inspector general of police, Kashmir zone, Vijay Kumar on Tuesday said that militants today crossed all the limits of barbarity even they did not spare even a little girl and left her injured. 

 
Talking to reporters on sidelines of wreath laying ceremony of Policeman who was killed by militants this evening in Anchar Soura IGP said that the militants today crossed all the limits of barbarity. "They did not spare even a little girl and left her injured. She is undergoing treatment at the hospital and is stable ," IGP said.
 
"We have come here to pay tributes to the martyred cop. I assure all my jawans that the militants involved in the killing will soon be identified and neutralized very soon," IGP said.
 
IGP further said that for last several years the terrorists have been targetting the unarmed jawans of army , police and CRPR while they are on leave.
 
"But we have been giving them a befitting reply and will continue doing so," IGP said.
 
Replying to a question , IGP said that the whole Kashmir society should come forward and condemn such brutal attacks. 
 
Families of the terrorists who are involved in such heinous attacks should also come forward and condemn such acts, he added.
 
Notably, militants on Tuesday evening fired upon a policeman identified as Saifullah Qadri in Malik sahab Soura, killing him on spot. His nine year old daughter also sustained bullet injuries in the attack. (KNS)
