Srinagar, Aug 03 (KNS): Militants on Wednesday evening fired upon a police vehicle in Allochibagh bund area of Srinagar district, police said here.
Kashmir police zone in a tweet said that the fire was effectively retaliated by the police party, while no damage was reported in the incident.
“In Allochibagh bund area of Srinagar, terrorists fired upon a vehicle bound small police party.This was effectively retaliated by the police party. Terrorists took advantage of darkness & ran away towards built up area. No injury or other damage took place. CASO launched in area,” police tweeted. (KNS)
