Srinagar, Apr 10 (KNS): A militant has been killed in the ongoing encounter that broke out in Srinagar today morning, police said here.

An official said that an encounter broke out in Srinagar today morning following inputs about the presence of militants in the area.

He said that in the ensuing encounter one militant has been killed, while operation was going on.

The official said that further details will be shared accordingly.

Meanwhile, IGP said that one of the militants involved in recent attack on CRPF in Srinagar has been killed, while another one was trapped. (KNS)
