Srinagar, Feb 19 (KNS): An unidentified militant has been killed in the encounter that broke out between militants and security forces in Zainapora area of Shopian district today morning, police said here.

An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that encounter broke out in Chermarg locality of Zainapora in the morning, following inputs about the presence of militants in the area.

He said that in the ensuing encounter one militant was killed, while searches were going on. 

The official said that identity and affiliation of the slain was being ascertained. (KNS)
