Baramulla,30 Sep. (KNS): A militant has been killed in an ongoing encounter at Yadipora pattan area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday early morning.
Official sources told Kashmir News Service (KNS), that identity of the slain militant is yet to be ascertained.
Earlier Reports reaching KNS said that a joint team of Pattan Police and Army's 29RR launched a cordon and search operation in Yadipora pattan after following the inputs about the presence of Militants in the area.
As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight.(KNS)
