Srinagar, Mar 15 (KNS): A militant has been killed in the ongoing encounter that broke out between militants and security forces in Awantipora locality of Pulwama district on Tuesday morning, police said here.
An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS), encounter broke out in Charsoo village after joint teams of forces cordoned off the area following inputs about the presence of militants.
He said that one militant has been killed in the ensuing encounter, while operation was going on.
