Jammu, Oct 13 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Wednesday transferred Executive Director J&K Entrepreneurship Development Institute, Surat Singh, who was also holding the additional charge of director J&K EDI and assigned additional charge of director and executive director J&K EDI to Director Handloom and Handicrafts Kashmir, Mehmood Shah.

As per an order, a copy of which lies with Kashmir News Service (KNS), government asked Surat Singh to report to General Administration Department till further orders for adjustment.

"In the interest of administration, Surat Singh, Executive Director, J&K Entrepreneurship Development Institute holding additional charge of Director, J&K EDI, is transferred and shall await further orders of adjustment in the General Administration Department," reads the order. 

The order further reads Mehmood Ahmad Shah, Director, Handloom and Handicrafts, Kashmir, shall hold the charge of the posts of Executive Director, J&K Entrepreneurship Development Institute and Director, J&K EDI in addition to his own duties, till further orders. (KNS)
