Srinagar, Nov 28 (KNS): PDP President and former chief minister Mehboob Mufti on Monday vacated from her Gupkar residence and shifted to a private house in Khimber area, the outskirts of Srinagar.
Party spokesperson, Najam-us-Saqib confirmed to KNS, saying "PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti has vacated her Gupkar residence and shifted her belongings to Khimber in the outskirts of Srinagar district".
Notably the J&K Estates Department on October 15 this year had served eviction notice to PDP chief and asked him to vacate the Fairview Guest House at Gupkar, the official residence within a stipulated period of time. Prior to that former chief minister Omar Abdullah had also vacated his residence after government served eviction notice to him.(KNS)
