Uri:02 September 2023(KNS)A Mega Sub Divisional Camp was organised as part of the ongoing Digital Week celebrations in Subdivision Uri. The event was inaugurated by SDM Uri, Jatin Kishore (IAS) in presence of Youth, Students from schools and colleges, PRIs and citizens. 

During the mega event various departments and CSCs set up stalls to generate awareness about online services offered by them as well as provide on the spot delivery of such services.

The Mela itself witnessed overwhelming response from the general public. Officers, experts and resource persons provided information regarding Digital Services.

Chairman Royal Skill and Technology affiliated with CSC(common service centre) Owais Ahmad Banday said We CSC affiliated centres the actual execution of all govermant scheme are to be done by CSC. We provide online registration, of all govt schemes to citizen at door steps.

SDM Uri inspected the stalls installed by departments and appreciated their efforts. SDM Uri said that the aim of digital week celebration is to bring transparency, promote digital literacy & empower people with doorstep delivery of services. He stated that similar awareness programs will also be carried out at Block and Panchayat levels.(KNS)
