Mattan residents resent poor Airtel services, appeals district admin to take action

Anantnag, Oct 27 (KNS): Residents of Mattan Area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag Wednesday expressed strong resentment against poor service of Airtel Cellular Network in the area, appealing district administration intervene into the matter.

“The area is witnessing Poor services of Airtel since few months. We have taken up the matter to the concerned company officials however our pleas didn’t yield any result”, a local said.

He said people in general while students and businessmen in particular have suffered much due to poor network in the area.

“Many students are Aspiring to take part in competitive exams however the poor network in the area have taken heavy toll on their future”, he said.

Another local said that the main motto of the company is to mint money from customers however when it comes to provide better connectivity the company has failed in this front.

“They shut their towers during night hours to save oil charges, leaving consumers to suffer badly”, he added.

The locals appealed district administration to take cognizance of the matter and take strict action against the company for duping customers. (KNS)
