Srinagar, 05 May 23 (KNS): Thousands of mourners, Friday attended a huge procession and Majlis E Hussaini (AS) led by President All J&K Shia Association Molvi Imran Reza Ansari.
In a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), a spokesperson, Molvi Imran Reza Ansari in his sermon said that Imam Hussain (AS) stands tall among the giants peppering Islam's history, revered for his tenacity, indomitable spirit, and the ultimate sacrifice he and his family made. “His spirit often inspires whenever people to stand against tyranny.”
Molvi Imran said that Imam Hussain's (AS) biggest contribution is understood to be the rejuvenation or revival of the true nature of Islam, against Yazid, who was vigorously corrupted.
Molvi Imran Ansari also strongly condemned the barbaric attack on teachers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (Parachinar District) by Takfiri groups yesterday and said, “Such inhuman acts have exposed the real intentions of these groups regarding future generations whom these terrorists want to put on a path of violence instead of prosperity and education”.(KNS)
