Major tragedy averted as forces recovered 15 Kg IED in Pulwama village, 2 OGW's arrested : IGP Kashmir

Srinagar, Jun 16 (KNS) : Security forces on Thursday claimed to have arrested two over ground workers of a militant outfit and recovered an 15 Kg Improvised Explosive Device (IED) at Armullah Litter village of Pulwama in South Kashmir district. 

 
Quoting Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir, Vijay Kumar, Jammu and Kashmir Police on its official Twitter handle said that, Police along with other security forces recovered an IED and have arrested the two over ground workers (OGW's) of militants involved in the crime. 
 
"PulwamaPolice & SFs averted a major tragedy by recovering 15Kg IED planted by militants in village Armullah, Litter. 02 militant associates involved in this terror crime have been arrested. Case registered. Investigation on: IGP Kashmir", tweets Jammu and Kashmir Police.(KNS)
