Sopore, Dec 01 (KNS): The Majlis-un-Nissa, a constituent of Adbi Markaz Kamraz, which is celebrating its Golden Jubilee this year, has announced maiden Nissa Awards for 2021.

As per a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS) it was decided to confer awards to four prominent and veteran Nissa’s for their emmence contribution and achievements in their respective fields.

The statement reads that Dr Farhat Jabeen has been selected for her contribution in the field of medicine (Gynecology), Haneefa Qureshi in the field of Education, Rafia Wali for literature and Fulbright and Neiman fellow, Ashwaq Masoodi for her achievement in the field of journalism.

Majlis-un-Nissa congratulated all the awardees and wished them luck in their future endeavours.

“Awards will be soon presented in Sopore which will be a part of Golden Jubilee Celebrations of Adabi Markaz Kamraz (AMK),” said president, Muzamil Bashir Masoodi. (KNS)
