Flagged Off For Baramulla, Kupwara and Uri

Baramulla May 27 (KNS):  The Baramulla Division of the Postal Department has received an important milestone after a mail Vehicle was approved to deliver the mails to all the post offices in the northern districts of Kupwara and remote areas of Baramulla,Uri, Trehgam and Sogam Lolab.

The postal car was flagged off in presence of Assistant Superintendent Post Office Headquarters Ashfaq Ahmed Ganai and was subsequently sent to Kupwara and Uri where it has reached the post office at Uri, Trehgam and Sogam.

SK Choug while giving details to the media said that this was a long standing demand of the people of Uri,Kupwara's Sogam and Trehgam area which was met by the department today and the department is seriously committed to provide its best to ensure that people do not face any difficulties.

On this occasion, Assistant Superintendent Headquarters Ashfaq Ahmad Ganai said that "the purpose of delivering mail in these remote areas of Kupwara district by postal vehicle is to reach the people in less time.At the post offices in Uri, Trehgam and Sogam,people can easily do speed post and other works related to the department. 

He further said that the postal department especially in the small and big post offices coming under Baramulla division is very easily available for the customers and people can avail various schemes of the postal department as the postal department provides various services to the people.(KNS)
