LG Sinha visits Uri, lays foundation stone of Degree College

Uri, August 29 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday visited north Kashmir’s border town Uri and took stock of the situation besides laying foundation stone of Degree College Boniyar.
According to Kashmir News Service (KNS), LG Manoj Sinha visited Uri are of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district where he took stock of the situation with civil and police officials.
Sinha, at the occasion, laid the foundation stone of Degree College Boniyar in Challan area of Uri, which was long pending demand of the locals.
Besides meeting with several public delegations, Sinha talked to Panchs, Sarpanchs and BDCs and listened their demands.
He also took stock of overall situation of border area and impressed upon officials to play a key role in addressing public demands. (KNS)
