Srinagar, May 20 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha is personally monitoring rescue operation where several workers were trapped after an under-construction collapsed near Khoni Nallah along the National Highway on Friday morning, official sources said here.

Official sources told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that LG Sinha was personally monitoring the Ramban rescue operation.

They said that LG is regularly in touch with Deputy Commissioner Ramban and Divisional Commissioner Jammu and is monitoring minute-details of the team involved in rescue operation.

Earlier, an under-construction tunnel collapsed near Khoni Nallah along the Nationa Highway in Ramban district.

Reports said that several construction workers were trapped inside the tunnel, following which a rescue operation was launched. (KNS)
