Jammu, Mar 8 (KNS) : Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday interacted with a group of students from Ladakh participating in the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad's (ABVP) 'Rashtriya Ekatmata Yatra' here, asserting that such initiatives strengthen the spirit of national unity.
Interacting with the youth at the Lok Bhavan here, the Lt Governor encouraged them to immerse themselves in the country's diverse cultures and use the experience for nation-building.
"Programmes like SERU (Students’ Experience in Regional Understanding) are instrumental in strengthening the spirit of national unity and fostering mutual understanding among youth from different parts of the country," Sinha was quoted as saying in an official statement.

The delegation comprises 30 students representing diverse regions of Ladakh, including Nubra, Kargil, Leh, Lamayuru, Shang, Nyoma, and Zanskar. The tour is being organised by the ABVP in collaboration with the Vidhyarthi Ceva Educational Trust and SEIL.
As part of the National Integration Tour, the students are being provided with educational and cultural exposure across Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir. During the interaction, the students shared their experiences and learnings from the yatra so far. (KNS)
