LG Sinha interacts with first batch of Hajj pilgrims from J&K

 Srinagar, June 05 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha on Sunday interacted with Hajj Pilgrims from J&K after first batch of pilgrims left for the holy pilgrimage from Srinagar airport. 

 
Office of LG J&K on its official Twitter handle informed that LG Sinha interacted with first batch of Haj pilgrims from J&K. 
 
He conveyed his greetings and best wishes to people undertaking sacred pilgrimage. 
 
The Tweet further added that LG prayed for successful Haj pilgrimage & peace, amity and prosperity for UT of J&K. 
 
On Sunday, first batch of 145 pilgrims was flagged off by top officials of J&K from Srinagar International Airport after the holy pilgrimage resumed after a gap of two years due to Covid-19 pandemic. (KNS)
