Srinagar, Oct 28 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Lt Governor, Manoj Sinha Thursday expressed shock and anguish over the loss of lives in a tragic road accident in Doda district of Jammu division today morning. 

Office of LG Jammu and Kashmir on its official Twitter handle said that Manoj Sinha has directed the district administration to provide immediate relief to the families of deceased and best medical assistance to the injured.

"Deeply anguished to hear about the tragic road accident in Doda. My thoughts and prayers for the families who have lost their loved ones. Have directed the District administration to provide immediate relief to families of deceased and best medical assistance to the injured," LG office Tweeted.

Earlier, eight persons were feared dead while several others injured in a tragic accident that took place in Doda after a mini-bus rolled down into a deep gorge along river Chenab on Thathri-Doda road near Sui Gwari. (KNS)
