Srinagar, Nov 18 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday ordered a magisterial inquiry in to the killings in Hyderpora encounter after family members of slain civilians contested police claims, while pleading for the innocence of their slain kins and demanding the return of their bodies.

Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, the office of LG J&K said that a magisterial inquiry by officer of ADM rank has been ordered in Hyderpora encounter.

The LG also said that the government will take suitable action as soon as report is submitted in a time-bound manner.

“JK admin reiterates commitment of protecting lives of innocent civilians and it will ensure there is no injustice,” the LG said.
