Sopore, Mar 08 (KNS): An associate of the militant group Lashkar e Toiba (LeT) was arrested in Nadihal area of Rafiabad in Baramulla district, police said here on Tuesday.
In a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), a police spokesperson said that a militant associate of LeT was arrested in Nadihal area of Rafiabad today along with arms and ammunition.
The statement reads that a joint of police, Army's 32 RR and 92 BN CRPF arrested one person identified as Firdous Ahmad Wani son of Ghulam Muhammad Wani of Check Seri in Pattan.
It reads that one AK 56, magazine and 30 live rounds were also recovered from his possession.
It reads that a case FIR No. 16/2022 U/S 7/25 Indian Arms Act, 13, 18, 38 UA(P) Act stands registered in Police Station Panzalla and investigation has been set in motion. (KNS)
