LeT militant associate arrested in Baramulla, ammunition recovered: Police

Baramulla, Dec 21 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested a militant associate of LeT during a special naka laid at Kralhar railway crossing in Baramulla district.

According to a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Baramulla Police along with units of Army arrested a militant associate of LeT upon the receipt of a specific input during a special naka laid at Kralhar railway crossing in Baramulla.

It reads that the associate has been identified as Faisal Ahmed Dar son of Mushtaq Ahmed Dar of Maldera Shopian.

It reads that 10 rounds of pistol were also recovered from his possession. “FIR No. 271/2021 of PS Baramulla under relevant sections of law has been registered into the matter and investigation has been taken up,” it reads. (KNS)
