Aishmuqam, March 04 (KNS): A leopard was found dead in a field in Iram colony locality of Aishmuqam village of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday.
An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS), the leopard was found dead by a local residents after he sensed some foul smell in the area.
He said as the local resident spotted the dead leopard he informed the police and later a team of police rushed to the spot.
“Later the concerned station house officer along with his team recovered the dead leopard and later hand it over to wildlife department,” he said. (KNS)
