Langate November 26 :(KNS) Langate Constituency Development Initiative (LCDI) Chairman Mohd Munawar Khawaja on Thursday leads a peaceful protest from main chowk Qaziabad to Tehsil office over the poor supply of electricity and water. 

In a statement to media, Peace full protest and sit in against unscheduled power cuts and unavailability of drinking water across the Langate constituency, comprising Qaziabad, Mawer Poruchakla and Langate. 

 

During the protest, Haji Mohammed Minawara Khawaja, said that filtered water is being provided to Handwara and Rafiabad from Nallah mawer and Gasji respectively but the constituency is being deprived from its rights.

He also highlighted the detorated health infrastructure of SDH Kralgund, PHC Ashpora, Audora

Munawar Khawaja chairman LCDI along with political workers also urged government to complete safalpora receiving station at the earliest. 

To have uninterrupted power supply Upgradation of ganapora receiving station creation of new receiving station at walrama and Palpora is important.

The protest started from main market and concluded at tehsil office kralgund and submitted memorandum to Tehsildar qaziabad. Such protest will also be held at tehsil headquarters of Qalamabad, Qaziabad, Munawar Khawaja said. (KNS)
