Srinagar, Nov 18 (KNS): PDP leader and constiuency incharge Habba Kadal, Arif Laigaroo Thursday condemned the house arrest of her party president, Mehbooba Mufti and arrest of Suhail Bukhari and Najmu Saqib. 

In a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), he said that the action by the police is condemnable as in a democracy everyone has a right to protest.

He also demanded the immediate release of the party leaders and a through probe into Hyderpora encounter. 

“For how long people can be subjugated,” he questioned and appealed for a meaningful dialogue to ended the crisis in Kashmir. (KNS)
