KULGAM, July 22(KNS): Teams from  district Administration  Kulgam visited the areas of Noorabad where flash floods hit the area due to cloud burst.

On the direction of the Deputy Commissioner Kulgam Dr. Bilal-Mohi-Ud-Din-Bhat, team from district Administration headed by ADC Viqar Ahmed Giri along with ACD, SDM Noorabad, Tehsildar and SDRF staff
reached to these areas and  shifted the affected families to safer places.
 
Flash floods due to cloudburst occurred in
Tangmarg, Watoo, Asnoor, Korel, Manzgam, Chogalpora, Kurbatpora, Chachmulla Jaibal and other  areas of Damhal Hanjipora Noorabad area.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

It was informed that there occurred heavy  downflow of water in many areas   due to cloudburst in the upper reaches, however no loss of human life has been reported.(KNS).
