Srinagar, May 27 (KNS): SMC corporator Danish Bhat has said that Kashmir Power Development Corporation authorities have turned vengeful against people of Lalbazar for protesting against installation of smart meters as they have disconnected electricity in the area.

 

In a Tweet, Bhat accused chief engineer KPDCL and executive engineer Khanyar division of turning vengeful against the people of Lalbazar for protesting over installation of smart meters & disconnects the electricity in the area.

 

He said that this is how some officers are working to bring disrepute to the LG Govt by making people suffer.

 

“People protesting over local governance issues are no criminals who deserve to be punished by disconnecting their electricity.

@cekpdcl should be made accountable for such unprofessional conduct,” he Tweeted. (KNS)
