Srinagar, Apr 12 (KNS) : Sara Begum, grandmother of Nadeem Khawaja, Kashmir News Service's Uri correspondent passed away on Tuesday after prolonged illness at her residence in Uri Baramulla.
Kashmir News Service has expressed condolences and sympathies over the demise of grandmother of its Uri correspondent Nadeem Khawaja.
In a condolences message, KNS Editor-in-Chief, Mohammad Aslam termed her demise as extremely unfortunate while stating that the deceased was a pious lady endowed with the qualities of kindness and warm hospitality.
My heartfelt prayers and solidarity goes out to the bereaved family members especially Nadeem Khawaja in this time of gloom. "I also pray for eternal peace to the departed soul", he said.
