Killing of Pandit employee: Nazir Yatoo appeals Grand Mufti to call for shutdown

Srinagar, May 13 (KNS):  Senior political leader and former Vice Chairman, JK Cements Engineer Nazir Yatoo today appealed to Grand Cleric Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam to call for a shutdown on Saturday to express solidarity with the Pandit community.

   
Notably, a Kashmiri Pandit employee Rahul Bhat was killed by militants on Thursday in Sheikhpora area of Budgam.
  
Nazir Yatoo said that killing of a human being is the killing of humanity and everyone should condemn it.
  
He appealed to Grand Mufti to forward a call for a shutdown across Kashmir Valley. “This will a sent a message that Muslims share the pain of Pandits and they are united,” he said. (KNS)
