Kendriya VidyalayNHPC Uri Hosts Grand Painting Competition Celebrating Education and Creativity

Baramulla, January 23, (KNS): Kendriya Vidyalaya NHPC Uri is abuzz with excitement as it celebrates and hosts a Painting Competition on January 23, 2024, within its premises. The event, organized in accordance with the directives from the Ministry of Education, Government of India, saw the enthusiastic participation of 100 students from four prominent schools: Kendriya Vidyalaya Baramulla, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Shahkote, Government Higher Secondary School Gingle, and KAD School Gingle, along with the host school Kendriya Vidyalaya NHPC Uri.
 
The Painting Competition featured inspiring themes, including "Tips for Exam Warriors" by Honorable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi, "Chandrayan III" by ISRO, "Sporting Success in India," and "Developed India." Additionally, two special themes, namely "Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose" and "Aditya L1 Mission by ISRO," added depth to the creative expressions.
 
The esteemed Chief Guest for the event was Mr. Pradeep Kumar Ray, the Honorable Head of the NHPC Power Project and Chairman of the Vidyalaya Management Committee of Kendriya Vidyalaya NHPC Uri. Mr. Ray shared his valuable insights and encouragement, emphasizing the importance of such events in nurturing young talents.
 
The program was impeccably coordinated and overseen by Mr. Sunil Kumar, the Program Convener, Program Incharge, and Principal of Kendriya Vidyalaya NHPC Uri. Mr. Kumar expressed his delight in witnessing the creative prowess of the students and highlighted the significance of such initiatives in fostering a holistic educational environment.
 
The judging panel, led by Mr. Ravikant, TGT Art Education at KV Uri, ensured a fair evaluation of the artworks. The supporting staff of Kendriya Vidyalaya NHPC Uri played a pivotal role in the smooth execution of the event, contributing to its resounding success.(KNS)
