Kashmiri's most generous; humanity still intact in Kashmir: Renowned Oncologist Dr. Samir Koul

 Anantnag, July 09 (KNS): Renowned Oncologist Dr. Samir Koul Sunday praised generosity of Kashmiri people, saying "Humanity is the strongest force among Kashmiri's especially in people of south Kashmir who are helping poor and needy in odd and even".

"Humanity is the strongest force among Kashmiri’s especially in people of south Kashmir. The people here are generous in helping people in their tough times," Dr. Samir Koul in an exclusive interview told KNS.

Born in south Kashmir's Pulwama, the renowned Oncologist Dr. Samir Koul said I belong to south Kashmir and I am proud of my people. He said the soil as well as mind of south Kashmir is enough fertile and people here are generous and humane.

"People of south Kashmir possess unique and exemplary qualities which pulled me back to my homeland to take care of my people. He said I will do my best to ensure quality healthcare services to my people who lacks such facilities in exigencies. "I'm visiting Srinagar from last 35 years but what I observed there is a lack of adequate healthcare facilities in south Kashmir. I have decided to spend one week in a month here to treat my people who are affected by cancer disease," Dr. Samir Koul said.

He added let it be a week at initial phase. It may extend till fortnight so that patients suffering from cancer disease will be attended.

Praising Kashmiri's humanity, Dr. Samir Koul said though many things have changed in Kashmir in past few decades but humanity among Kashmiri’s is intact. (KNS)
