Karnah November 07 (KNS) : The Karnah-Kupwara road reopened for vehicular traffic after remaining closed for hours due to snowfall at Sadhna Top, official said.
He siad that the only road leading towards Tangdhar sector reopened for vehicular movement and the trucks carrying essential stock including vegetables were allowed to ply towards Karnah sector.

As per the official record, 1 ft of snow was recorded at Sadhna top.
SDM karnah Gulzar Ahmad Rather confirmed to KNS that the traffic on Kupwara-Karnah highway was suspended as a precautionary measures.
However, the snowfall led to slippery conditions on the roads in Kupwara-karnah road causing a slowdown in traffic movement. (KNS)
