Karnah, Jan 13 (KNS): The Karnah-Kupwara road on. Thursday reopened for vehicular movement after remaining closed for nearly a week due to heavy snowfall at Sadhna Top, officials said here.

Officials told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that the only road link connecting Karnah with district headquarters Kupwara reopened for one-way traffic today after a week.

They said that vehicles were allowed to ply from Karnah towards Kupwara today. 

He said that 135 vehicles were allowed to move towards Kupwara and drivers have been cautioned regarding overloading.

He also said that drivers have been advised to use anti-skid chains to avoid any untoward incident and subject to fair weather tomorrow traffic will be allowed from Chowkibal towards Karnah. (KNS)
