Kupwara September 19 (KNS):  The Kachama Premier League 2022, organized by army in Panzgam Kupwara came to end on Sunday after Dhobiwan Daredevils lifts trophy by defeating its rival Dardand Avengers, in final match at sports filed Dhoban Maidan, Kachama.

According to a statement issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), The tournament is organized every year wherein teams from Kralpura, Lunahare and Kachama participate in the tournament. This year total 15 teams from multiple villages had registered for the tournament. A total of 26 matches were played by the teams.The final match was played between Dhoban Daredevils and Dardand Avengers on Sunday, 18 Sep 2022. The Dhoban Daredevils team bagged the winner trophy.

Cricket is one of the sports that attracts youth across the country. Similar craze is possessed by the youth and their enthusiasm for this game is unmatched, statement reads.

 The tournament witnessed a huge gathering of cricket fans including village leaders, sarpanches, youth and children from across the AOR. Winner team, runner up team and individual best players were distributed with the trophies amidst loud cheers of the exciting crowd statement adds.(KNS)
