Justice Magrey Inaugurates New Court Complex In Kulgam's DH Pora

Srinagar, Dec 05 (KNS): The Chief Justice, High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh e-inaugurated a new court complex at D.H. Pora area of south Kashmir's Kulgam district on Monday.


 Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey, The Chief Justice, High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh accompanied by Hon’ble Mr. Justice Rajnesh Oswal, Judge High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh,(Administrative Judge for District Kulgam) e-inaugurated New Court Complex D.H.Pora in presence of Registrar General, Mr. Sanjeev Gupta, Principal Secretary to Chief Justice Mr. Aijaz Ahmad Khan, Mr. Anoop Sharma Registrar Computers High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh from conference room of High Court of J&K and Ladakah, at Jammu. 

The foundation stone was unveiled by Mr. Mohammad Ashraf Bhat, Principal District and Sessions Judge, Kulgam on behalf of his Lordship Chief Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey and Mr. Justice Rajnesh Oswal. 

 Hon’ble the Chief Justice speaking on the occasion expressed that he is the son of the soil, belongs to subdivision Noorabad and this court caters his native village Wattoo. During e-inauguration of Court complex at D.H.Pora his Lordship in emotional words averred that to lwhat he has been bestowed by this area in his early age while pursuing education and whatever facility he will provide to the area in return would not be enough. 

He emphasized that D.H.Pora is treated as hard posting and far flung area of voiceless people comprising the economicallysocially backward and tribal people. 

He also emphasized that with the advance technology his Lordship sitting at Jammu e-inaugurated the new court complex at D.H.Pora. Taming it in the map of development, he expressed that best court infra-structure will serve the needs of the litigants who approach the court for getting Justice. 

The new court complex would house the advocates comfortably in taking of the cause of people and a comfortable place to work for the stakeholders to work effectively for the cause of justice. 

3. Mr. Rajnesh Oswal, administrative Judge for District Kulgam expressed his fortunate to be working under the dynamic leadership of Chief Justice, Mr. Ali Mohammad Magray as Chief Justice of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh whose energies are matchless and he has not only in D.H.Pora or District Kulgam improvised the infrastructure of courts but across the UT of Jammu and Kashmir. 

He laid the emphasize that advance infrastructure will pay way in making constitutional mandate and a constitutional guarantee in reality. Welcome address was presented by Mr. Mohammad Ashraf 
Bhat, Principal District and Sessions Judge, Kulgam who emphasized this occasion as a historical occasion of einauguration of Court Complex D.H.Pora. 

He also welcome other dignitaries who were present both physically as well virtually. He maintained that Damhal Hanjipora though 
being a far off place is the birth place of His Lordship and district Judiciary in general and people of D.H Pora in Particular are proud of Hisposition in the Judicial hierarchy of J&K. 

He further added that ideally his Lordship’s physical presence on this historical occasion would have added more charm to the occasion but destiny had other plans which unwillingly forced the occasion to put in a virtual mode. He further emphasized that Munsiff Court D.H Pora though established in the year 1984 has never had an occasion to have a permanent place of work till date. But it is because of the persistent endeavours of His Lordship that the dream of having a Court Building, and of this magnitude, has come true. 

He also thanked to His Lordship for the endeavouring efforts put in place despite His Lordships busy schedule. 

This Court building is one-of-a-kind structures in this area being inaugurated by the hands of son of the soil. He further emphasised that His Lordships personal efforts had made it possible to complete the much-awaited infrastructure within a short span of time. Bench, Bar and litigants have suffered many hardships due to lack of proper infrastructure.

The efforts put by his lordship in justice 
delivery system, whether it is access to justice or infrastructural development, can never be forgotten and will surely be remembered throughout the eras. 

The feel of the joy in everyone’s eyes present here and this joy endorses love and thankfulness to Hon’ble the Chief Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey.

President Bar Association D.H.Pora Advocate Syed Rouf Geelani in his speech give whole credit to the Hon’ble Lordship for making timely completion of this court complex lordship for holding the top a success. 

He emphasized over the role of all the Presiding officers and the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Kulgam in making success to reach this point where the huge complex was inaugurated today. The inauguration function was attended by Dr. G.V. Sundeep Chakravearthy SSP Kulgam, Mr. Showkat Ahmad Rather Addl. District Development Commissioner, Kulgam, Mr. Bashir-ul-Haq Sub Divisional Magistrate D.H.Pora, Assistant Executive Engineer, Housing Board Srinagar and Bar President, Kulgam. 

It is worthwhile to mention here that the estimated cost of the court complex was Rs.822.24 lacs and the total expenditure incurred for construction of Court Complex D.H.Pora is Rs. 575.26 lacs.
