Anantnag, January 21:(KNS) J&K Peoples Movement (JKPM) has demanded the construction of a macadamized road from Dabrun to Wanihama & Donipawa areas of Anantnag.

In a press release issued here, JKPM Vice President Solicitor Syed Iqbal Tahir said that the area from Dabrun to Wanihama comprises of various villages including Dabrun, Nijigund, Uttressoo and Shalipora. These villages have a total population of approximately 4000 people.

“The road can result in economic benefits to the people of the area and provide connectivity to the proposed national highway through Wanihama”, Iqbal Tahir said in his statement.(KNS)
