Srinagar July 5:(KNS)   J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) General Secretary Surinder Singh Channi on Monday urged that the J&K minorities must get the reservation they deserve during ongoing delimitation process, terming it as opportune time to deliver justice in their favour

In a statement, JKPCC General Secretary Surinder Singh Channi has said that time has come when minorities living in J&K must get the reservation, they deserve to ensure that they don’t feel ignored.

PCC General Secretary reiterated that Delimitation Commission must cover minorities during its process of reorganization and creation of more segments in J&K to ensure justice to them.

I strongly urge that minorities must be heard and given the opportunity to participate in a democratic process through reservation of seats in J&K, PCC General Secretary added and also urged the Centre Govt to take effective measures to ensure equal representation to J&K minorities in Legislature and other areas.(KNS)
