Srinagar May 14 (KNS) :The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) today expressed deep sorrow over the passing away of it’s Senior Leader Mohd Sultan Mundoo, describing it as a great loss to party.

Senior Congress Leader breathed his last on Thursday evening after a brief illness in Srinagar.

JKPCC President G.A. Mir has expressed profound grief over the passing away of Mohd Sultan Mundoo and conveyed deepest condolences to bereaved family.

Deeply saddened over the loss of Mohd Sultan Mundoo, who has served the party to the best of his ability, his contributions to Party in Srinagar district were immense, G.A. Mir said in his condolence message and shared the grief with the bereaved family.

My heartfelt condolences to bereaved family, relatives and friends of Mohd Sultan Mundoo, JKPCC President added and prayed for eternal peace to departed soul.

Senior Congress Leader and Former Minister Taj Mohi U Din, PCC Vice Presidents Haji Abdul Rashid Dar, Mohd Anwar Bhat, Amreen Badre, Former Minister Raman Matoo, Former Legislator and Senior Leader Mohd Amin Bhat, PCC General Secretaries Surinder Singh Channi, Shameema Iqbal and various other Senior leaders of the party have expressed grief over the passing away of Mohd Sultan Mundoo and describing it as a great loss to party in Srinagar.

The deceased was a dedicated and loyal party man, who remained associated with party since his childhood, while having served the party in difference capacities, they said.

They leaders expressed their sympathies with the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to departed soul.

Meanwhile District Congress Committees across Kashmir province condoled the passing away of Mohd Sultan Maundoo.

In a statement, DCC Presidents, Abdul Gani Khan, Gulzar Ahmad Wani, Imtiyaz Parray, Zahid Hussain Jan, Farooq Ahmad Bhat, Fayaz Ahmad Mir, Sahil Farooq, Dr. Ayoub Matoo and others conveyed deepest condolences to family of deceased party leaders.

The leaders hailed the service rendered by the deceased to Congress party in Srinagar and shared the grief with bereaved family and prayed for peace to departed soul.(KNS)
