Chief patron Sanjay Kumar welcomes new entrants into party fold, says man have failed let women take over

 
Baramulla, Apr 27 (KNS) : Prominent political workers including elected representatives from north Kashmir's Baramulla district joined the Jammu and Kashmir Nationalist People’s Front (JKNPF) in a function held at Dak Banglow Baramulla on Wednesday. 
 
Party President Sheikh Muzzafar, while addressing the new entrants and party workers, said it is inspiring and encouraging to see people from all walks of life joining the JKNPF with a resolve to strengthen it on ground and make it a viable political alternative and a force to reckon with.
 
The party president while addressing huge gathering of people with around presence of 300 women said, “JKNPF is determined to solve the problems faced by the people at large. They have been conned for so many years by various political parties, however, our party does not believe in emotive sloganeering; instead we focus on realistic issues that affect the routine lives of our people,” Muzaffar said.
 
He said that today’s mass joining is an example of how people are fed up with the family Raj. “The people who believed in politics of making their lives prosperous and miserable for the common masses have no space in today’s world,” Muzaffar said.
 
The president said that women are at the centre of discourse in the state and we won't let them be ignored.
 
Political parties owe a responsibility and have a duty towards women, the president said that it is time for women to stand up and understand that together we can change the scenario and can fight for our rights.
 
The president on the occasion pledged farm loan waiver, the free electricity for the people below poverty line if party comes in power.
 
While welcoming the new entrants into the party-fold, the party patron Sanjay Kumar impressed upon the new entrants to extend their full cooperation to the party in getting the problems of their areas resolved.
 
Sanjay Kumar, Founder and Chief Patron of JKNPF said that equal participation of men and women in the political process is the need of the hour. 
 
"We have seen men failing in the political process and participation of women in the political arena is a welcome step. We believe in empowerment of women and welcome all the women who are willing to join our party. Let the women take over the political process," he added. 
 
During the occasion, besides party president Shiekh Muzaffar, Senior party leaders including Tariq Ahmad Rather, Shabir Ahmad Wani, Shahid Hussain Bhat, Muntaha and Nighat were also present. They welcomed and appreciated the move of young minds for joining the party fold.(KNS)
