JKCSF remembers the contribution of doctors on Doctors’ Day

Srinagar, June 30:(KNS)  On doctors’ day, Jammu And Kashmir Civil Society Forum on Wednesday applauded the role of Kashmiri doctors in serving the ailing humanity amid a deadly pandemic COVID 19.

In a statement Chairman JKCSF Abdul Qayoom Wani expressed satisfaction over the role played by Kashmiri doctors despite all odds, particularly the deadly pandemic COVID 19.

Wani said though the infrastructure in JK hospitals is not sufficient to meet the challenges but the it was only due to the dedication, efficiency and professionalism of doctors that a worst pandemic was brought under control and lives of people were largely saved by virtue of effective treatment and patient care during the peak COVID times.

JKCSF salutes all doctors on Doctors Day with pride that they upheld the prestige of the white collar profession.

JKCSF remembers the contribution of doctors body, Doctors Association Kashmir, for its outstanding role in making the health awareness among masses and other stakeholders from time to time especially during the times of COVID 19, that proved fruitful in safeguarding the lives of the people.

JKCSF envisaged upon the govt and NGOs that while doctors have been the frontline workers in saving the lives of the people, their key contributions need to be appreciated as a mark of respect to them.(KNS)
