Srinagar, May 21 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has issued a notification announcing the restoration of the previous academic calendar for Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh Union Territories. This change follows the Government Order No. 468-JK (Edu) of 2024, dated November 6, 2024, and supersedes the earlier Notification No. F. (Acad-C)/B/A.C/22 dated September 22, 2022.
As per the revised academic calendar, a copy of which lies with KNS, the academic session for the Kashmir Division, winter zone areas of Jammu Division and Ladakh Union Territory will follow the 2024-25 schedule.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelThe Annual Regular Examinations for Classes 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th in these regions will now be conducted in October-November 2025.
Meanwhile, the academic session for the summer zone of the Jammu Division will be 2025-26, with the Annual Regular Examinations for Classes 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th slated for March-April 2026.(KNS)
